Jel’d Stain 550 Premium is intended for professional use only. It is formulated for interior wood surfaces
such as casework, doors, trim, paneling and cabinets. It is formulated with finely ground solvent-based liquid dispersion colorants to achieve custom colors with subtle depth and exceptional intensity. Jel’d Stain 550 Premium may be applied to bare or bleached wood. It is compatible with a variety of other Wood Kote products. Please refer to the Wood Kote Schedule of Product Compatibility and
Recommended Dry Times. Jel’d Stain 550 Premium complies with the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) emission requirements for Architectural and Industrial
Maintenance coatings (effective 13Sep99).

One application of Jel’d Stain 550 Premium will cover approximately 1250-1500 sq ft/gal (30,6-36,8 m2/L).  Recoating is not recommended.

COMPOSITION & PROPERTIES
Jel’d Stain 550 Premium is a semitransparent pigment wood stain. It is intended for application without
thinning. If thinning is desired, PolySolvent (mineral spirits) should be used or, if regulations require a
VOC-exempt thinner, use AceThin (acetone).

TYPES
Jel’d Stain 550 Premium is available from the factory in 7 colors. It can be tinted with Korrect-O or Perfect-O colorants to achieve variations of the custom colors.

SIZES
Jel’d Stain 550 Premium is sold in 12-fl oz (335ml), 32-fl oz (946ml) metal containers.

APPLICATION
Jel’d Stain 550 Premium is formulated to be applied by hand inshop or on-site with a soft clean lintfree
cloth. Jel’d Stain 550 Premium should be rubbed into the grain of the wood with a circular motion and
the excess wiped away in the direction of the wood grain. It should be applied in a manner that the
application is uniform in color, must be free of streaks, blotches or other defects detrimental to appearance or performance.
